It’s the first time I’ve ever stayed in a place where the bed was actually as comfortable as my own! A gorgeous place and so lovely to wake up every morning and see the sky lightening over the trees of the Canal du Midi. And as for Portiragnes – what a lovely little village, we felt so at home there, such a friendly place. We had one particularly memorable evening at Le Café de la Mairie where they had a flamenco and paella evening with all the locals taking to the dance-floor – it was wonderful.
